Science of Reading Instructional Video Developer (Contract, Remote)
San Juan College is seeking experienced educators trained in the Science of Reading to develop instructional demonstration videos. The selected contractors will create short videos modeling evidence-based literacy practices for educator preparation coursework.

Responsibilities
Develop short (5–10 minute) instructional demonstration videos modeling evidence-based literacy practices aligned with New Mexico House Bill 156 (HB 156)
Create instructional videos demonstrating explicit, systematic literacy instruction for use in educator preparation coursework
Develop up to four (4) approved videos based on demonstrated expertise, topic alignment, and quality of submission
Qualification
Required
Documented training in the Science of Reading (LETRS, Orton-Gillingham, or equivalent)
Experience teaching foundational literacy skills
Experience working with struggling readers and/or students with dyslexia
Ability to model explicit instruction clearly and accurately
Familiarity with structured literacy principles
Preferred
Reading specialist certification
Experience conducting dyslexia screenings
Experience in intervention settings (Tier 2 or Tier 3)
Experience working with multilingual learners
Prior experience developing professional learning materials
