Responsibilities

Cut and kit composite materials to tight tolerances
Perform bonding operations including surface prep and adhesive application
Execute hand lamination of carbon, fiberglass, Kevlar, film adhesives, and core materials
Perform full vacuum bag cure cycles including debulking and oven monitoring
Cure materials per manufacturer specifications
Identify scarf back plies (scarfing) as required
Interpret composite layup drawings and manufacturing instructions
Ensure material traceability in compliance with AS9100
Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Maintain shop organization and PPE compliance

Required

2+ years of composite manufacturing experience
Demonstrated ability to independently execute composite builds
Proficient use of pneumatic tools, hand tools, and precision measurement instruments
Ability to read and interpret composite layup and assembly prints
Experience working with material data sheets
Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
