Structured Cable Technician
Control Systems, Inc is a leading low-voltage systems integration contractor specializing in cutting-edge technologies. They are seeking a skilled Data Cable Technician to join their team, where you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of information and communications technology cabling systems within commercial buildings.

Responsibilities
Install and terminate copper/fiber cables for voice, data, and video applications
Conduct assessments and surveys to determine cabling requirements
Pull, route, and secure cables
Perform testing and troubleshooting on copper/fire cabling systems
Maintain accurate documentation of job site activities
Collaborate with project teams, including Sales, Design, and Engineering
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in using hand tools for cable installation
IDF and MDF buildout experience is required
Strong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, CEC/NEC, and relevant codes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Familiarity with low-voltage systems and associated technologies
Technical competence in Commscope, Panduit, Leviton products
High School Diploma or equivalent
Willingness to work in varying conditions, including outdoor and elevated settings
