Responsibilities
Partner with Store Managers, DRMs, and ASMs to improve trips, service, selling behaviors, and daily Beauty results
Support DMs by identifying Beauty Stylist top talent, coaching selling behaviors, and strengthening team performance
Deliver education and training as a Training Ambassador—supporting core and launch product education, approving vendor‑led trainings, and facilitating seasonal stylist and fragrance sessions
Conduct shoulder‑to‑shoulder coaching on the floor, reinforcing selling protocol, product knowledge, and digital selling tools
Work directly with vendors to secure product knowledge support, schools, and ongoing education needs
Drive Beauty Services productivity and oversee accountability for appointments and trip‑driving behaviors
Plan, execute, and train teams on regional and national Beauty events, ensuring stores surpass event goals
Host local influencer experiences, support Beauty press moments, and collaborate with store leadership to elevate Nordstrom’s Beauty authority
Create social content in partnership with store teams to reinforce education, events, and Beauty storytelling
Partner regularly with DRMs on booking and selling tools, aligning on strategies to improve customer engagement and service
Qualification
Required
2+ years of department manager experience at top volume departments
2+ years of experience managing multiple teams or merchandise categories
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Clear effective written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable public speaking and teaching
Preferred
Beauty Division experience
