Responsibilities
Manage client engagement for complex, transformational programs
Support the development of business and technical strategies, business cases, and implementation plans
Lead client interviews and facilitate stakeholder engagement
Work with clients to document and/or identify current and future-state business processes
Perform and manage technical project work such as developing solution concepts, reviewing vendors’ design documents, and requirements traceability
Support business requirements definition and request for proposal development
Support proposal evaluation, selection process, statement of work development, and vendor contract negotiation
Support or act as project manager to develop project plans, key milestones, and project control structure
Transfer knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others’ knowledge and skill levels
Contribute to the business development process as a subject matter expert (SME)
Support proposals and business development for utility clients
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in a consulting environment, with proven experience as a technical project manager, leading strategic engagements and developing roadmaps
Experience supporting utilities/energy clients, including delivering Wildfire Mitigation Programs (WMP)
Understanding of Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events - weather forecasting & identification, emergency preparedness, and community engagement
Knowledge of digital twin solutions and cloud architecture (AWS)
Experience developing dashboards and analyzing complex datasets related to asset and grid infrastructure, fire and wildfire risk, customer analytics, vegetation management, and/or weather and environmental data
Experience engaging with directors and presenting to VPs/C-suite executives
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
Ability to travel based on client and practice demands
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and various PM tools (such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps)
