Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security
Implement and manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and VLAN configurations
Perform network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates
Support network-related incidents and provide root cause analysis
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and best practices
Maintain documentation of network configurations and changes
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in network engineering/support
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches
Experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios)
Basic knowledge of network security principles
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred
CCNA or CCNP certification
Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
