Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, and switching/routing environments
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and uptime
Support the buildout of new infrastructure within our GPU cloud platform
Collaborate with Engineering and Platform teams to align networking with infrastructure needs
Manage network documentation including topologies, IP allocations, and configurations
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and network optimizations
Assist in data center migrations and bringups, hardware upgrades, and capacity planning
Maintain compliance with internal and external security and performance standards
Qualification
Required
Designed and implemented resilient, multi-homed internet edge solutions utilizing BGP, SD-WAN, redundant firewalls, and/or load balancing technologies to ensure continuous availability of inbound and outbound services. Defined routing policy, path selection, failover behavior, and health-check mechanisms to achieve high availability, fast convergence, and predictable traffic engineering
5+ years of experience in network engineering or related infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ECMP, VLANs, and other Layer 2/3 technologies
Hands-on experience with enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Arista, SONiC, Fortinet)
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana, 1000 eyes, etc.)
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting) is a plus
Understanding of cloud and virtualization concepts (OpenStack, VMware, k8s, etc.)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours support
Preferred
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience
Exposure to HPC, data center networking, or AI/ML infrastructure
Experience in a fast-paced startup or cloud service provider environment
