Materials Technology Development Manager (Material Process & Physics)
The Boeing Company is seeking a Materials Technology Development Manager to lead a team responsible for the execution of development and maturation projects related to materials for commercial airplanes. This role involves managing engineering activities, developing project plans, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions for current and future applications.

Responsibilities
Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Materials, Process & Physics (MP&P)
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
5+ years of experience in an engineering related role
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Preferred
Airplane program experience
Technology development experience
Team leadership and/or management experience
Demonstrated ability to use teamwork across organizational boundaries to deliver products
Experience using project management tools including schedule and budget development and monitoring
Ability to travel up to 20% of work time (combination of local, national and international)
