Responsibilities
Data entry – updating and maintaining ClearPath’s financial models for our clients
Analysis – assisting our analysts with forecasting and other analysis
Research - assisting our finance team with a variety of research tasks, summarizing information for internal or client use
Learn all aspects of business from a wide-variety of projects – including ERP implementation, cost-accounting analysis, valuations and business exit-planning, M&A engagements, recurring monthly CFO services, business assessments, operations process mapping, research assignments and more
Qualification
Required
Current or recent undergraduate or graduate student in finance, economics, accounting, or other business field
Basic Excel skills or ability to learn quickly
Intermediate level of skill with the entire Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to thoughtfully leverage AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and workflow efficiency, while exercising independent judgment and maintaining high standards of accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and organization – errors are rare and corrected quickly
Proactive – asks questions when unsure, anticipates problems and troubleshoots
Good research skills – ability to find, analyze, and summarize information from a variety of sources
Basic understanding of general business and operational concepts
Consistently professional attitude, respectful of clients and team members is mandatory
Preferred
Prior internships or part-time work experience
Experience with data extraction from one or more common ERP/Accounting software packages (QuickBooks, MS Dynamics, etc)
Knowledge of formulas such as Index/Match, SumIfs, SumProduct, V/H-Lookup, IfError
Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms
Desire to learn how to use PitchBook and DealStats
Completed coursework or experience in finance or accounting
