Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and configuration of the Collibra data catalog platform
Manage and maintain the Collibra environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability
Develop and enforce best practices for data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage
Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies and standards
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal data governance policies
Monitor and report on data quality metrics and governance KPIs
Integrate Collibra with various data sources, databases, and BI tools
Develop and maintain data integration workflows and processes
Ensure accurate and up-to-date metadata and data lineage information
Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the Collibra data catalog
Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and best practice guides
Assist users in data discovery, analysis, and reporting tasks
Identify opportunities for improving data catalog functionality and user experience
Stay up-to-date with the latest Collibra features, updates, and industry best practices
Participate in data governance and data management forums and communities
