Vice President of Information Systems

Paradigm Max Q is redefining defense industry support and is seeking a strategic Vice President of Information Systems. This role involves leading enterprise technology and cybersecurity initiatives while supporting business development and growth strategy, ensuring operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year Information Systems strategy aligned with company growth objectives
Lead IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cloud environments, and enterprise applications
Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and performance metrics
Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives
Ensure technology scalability to support rapid growth and new business lines
Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
Develop and implement enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
Ensure compliance with applicable frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc., as applicable)
Lead incident response planning, vulnerability management, and risk assessments
Oversee security operations, monitoring, and third-party risk management
Present cyber risk posture and mitigation strategies to executive leadership and Board (if applicable)
Foster a security-first culture across the organization
Partner with Business Development and Capture teams to support strategic pursuits
Lead technical solutioning for RFPs/RFIs and proposal submissions
Serve as executive cyber/IT subject matter expert during client meetings and presentations
Support pricing strategies related to IT infrastructure, cyber, and technology services
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to strengthen competitive differentiation
Conduct due diligence on technical requirements for new markets or acquisitions
Build and lead a high-performing IT and cybersecurity team
Establish clear performance metrics and accountability structures
Develop succession planning and workforce capability strategies
Promote cross-functional collaboration between IT, Operations, HR, Finance, and BD
Cultivate vendor and strategic partner relationships

Required

12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Systems, IT, or Cybersecurity
5+ years in executive or senior leadership roles
Demonstrated experience aligning IT strategy with business growth initiatives
Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, or highly regulated industries (if applicable to Paradigm Max Q)
Proven experience in cybersecurity governance and compliance frameworks
Strong financial acumen and experience managing enterprise-level budgets

Preferred

Experience supporting business development or capture efforts
CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent
