Responsibilities

Certify to level-2 in both Fluorescent Penetrant (FPI) and Digital Radiography (DR) within 2-years of NDT start date
Understand and comply with all levels of procedures associated with NDT and the task/method assigned
Operate all required equipment, perform systems checks, and routine maintenance as needed
Adept at reading prints/process drawings associated with AA TECH product
Develop techniques for future AA TECH product, improve processes which enhance inspection results or help reduce ergonomic concerns
Examine hundreds of parts daily for weld and braze flaws, incorrect assemblies, forging and casting defects, rework evaluations, etc. while striving for a near-perfect quality record

Required

Must have completed High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and understand detailed work instructions, procedures, and drawings
Strong computer skills required. Create spreadsheets and Word documents, develop techniques and formulas within Excel, data entry in various software suites, and adept within the Windows OS environment
Basic math and algebra skills required. Verification upon test
General science comprehension also required
Successfully complete eye test
Must meet and maintain all requirements within Q09-02-4001 and NAS-410 for present and future certifications in methods within NDT
Must be able to travel 5% of the time (up to 3 weeks per year) either with team members or individually
Due to the company's military contractor status, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States and must provide evidence of citizenship or immigration status upon applying for the position
