Responsibilities
Design, build, and train machine learning systems and AI agents
Implement and develop Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, and AI agent architectures/use cases
Deploy ML solutions, monitor performance, and test model accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with data engineering teams to align ML pipelines
Document artifacts, processes, and performance outcomes
Mentor junior team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
5+ years of experience in ML engineering
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, Databricks, PySpark, MLflow, etc
Experience with AWS data infrastructure and DevOps workflows, S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, etc
Experience with deep learning techniques, LLMs, RAGs, AI Agents
Must be eligible to obtain a public trust clearance with the Department of Transportation
