The role involves ensuring the integrity and performance of cutting-edge projects by developing and documenting structural requirements, coordinating with engineering groups, and guiding product design.

Responsibilities
Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design
Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
Guide product design and verify structural integrity through analytical methods, simulations, and other analysis tools
Develop test plans, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate systems and components
Document certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies
Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Experience with Aerospace Structural hardware and Finite Element Method (FEM)
Excellent strength report writing skills
Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) including NASTRAN
Some experience with launch vehicle structures
Preferred
Advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
ABET accreditation is preferred but not required
Experience in developing analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency
