Responsibilities
Help drive the technical direction and execution of our software platform
Operate as a senior individual contributor — guiding architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and partnering closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions
Lead complex engineering initiatives, reviewing design decisions, and helping teams move quickly while maintaining high standards for quality and reliability
Collaborate across functions to align technical solutions with business goals, unblock challenging technical problems, and help shape architecture that supports long-term growth
Influence how work gets done — improving engineering practices, mentoring teammates, and helping ensure delivery remains predictable and aligned with strategic priorities
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Lead Software Engineer or similar role
Strong technical leadership skills
Hands-on development experience in a collaborative SaaS environment
Ability to guide architecture decisions
Experience mentoring engineers
Ability to partner closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams
Experience leading complex engineering initiatives
Ability to review design decisions
Strong understanding of quality and reliability standards
Ability to align technical solutions with business goals
Experience unblocking challenging technical problems
Ability to shape architecture that supports long-term growth
Experience improving engineering practices
Ability to ensure delivery remains predictable and aligned with strategic priorities
Experience in defining and communicating architectural direction
Ability to reduce technical debt and improve developer productivity
Ability to build trust with cross-functional partners
Experience in influencing technical strategy
Ability to help teams operate at a higher level
Experience in building scalable, modern SaaS platforms
