Warehouse Operator - 1st Shift

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for various warehouse functions, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining safety and quality standards in the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
Completion of daily warehouse tasks
Maintain a safe and orderly work area
Setup and stage loads as directed by warehouse supervisor and dispatcher
Load and unload Hydrite trucks, LTL, and Inter-branch shuttles
Accurate and timely completion of paperwork
Perform all computer transactions on a daily basis to ensure proper visibility and accuracy in the M3 System
Perform daily forklift and warehouse safety inspections
Perform daily product inspections to insure adherence to Hydrite’s quality standards
Store products in a safe, orderly fashion according to standard operating procedures
Effectively move material throughout the facility
Perform cleaning tasks, including running floor sweeper and scrubber
Prepares shipping and receiving documents in accordance with applicable SOP’s including waste documents, storage, and handling
Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned
Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant
All staff members are responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor or the SQF Practitioner upon observation of a known or potential issue
Active member of Milwaukee’s Emergency Response Team
Comply with all of Hydrite’s safety and RCEP policies
Works with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provides back-up support as necessary/directed
Supports effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to ensure success of the branch team

Ability to sit, stand and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day
Ability to lift 100 pound bags 30 times per day
Ability to unload 40 drums per day with barrel cart
Able to perform manual dexterity tasks
Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching
Able to wear a hairnet and beard net, if applicable, with a hard hat
No exposed jewelry in body piercings when in a GMP production area
Must be able to work in an un-cooled warehouse facility where temperatures may reach 100° Fahrenheit
Due to safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited
Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day without restrictions
Ability to meet DOT vision requirements
Ability to wear SCBA and additional personal protective equipment
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Hold a Valid Drivers License
Knowledge of Hydrite's work, safety and regulatory rules
Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations
Class A CDL preferred with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record; with Hazardous and tanker endorsements
Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English
