Responsibilities
Develop and validate high-fidelity antenna and RF simulation workflows using EMA’s solvers
Systematically evaluate antenna types including wire antennas, patch antennas, arrays, apertures, and broadband/narrowband designs
Model unintentional emitters such as cables, PCBs, harnesses, and enclosures
Assess multiple excitation types including lumped sources, wave ports, plane waves, and current sources
Refine meshing strategies, boundary conditions, solver settings, and post-processing techniques to improve numerical stability and correlation accuracy
Benchmark EMA solver results against measured data, other numerical techniques (FEM, MoM, FDTD, hybrid methods), and published literature
Provide technical guidance to internal services engineers performing antenna and RF simulations
Troubleshoot convergence, excitation, and modeling challenges on active projects
Serve as technical lead on selected services engagements and mentor junior engineers
Develop internal validation libraries, benchmark models, and best practice documentation
