Electronics Lab Technician
Akkodis is seeking an Electronics Lab Technician for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The role involves operating imaging and optical characterization automation systems and developing Python-based tools to enhance laboratory workflows.

Responsibilities
Operate state‑of‑the‑art imaging and optical‑characterization automation systems for display modules
Design and implement mechanical setups, including camera enclosures and robot manipulators, for diverse display products
Maintain and troubleshoot automation equipment to ensure reliable imaging and test performance
Support laboratory workflows by preparing setups, handling modules, and ensuring proper test execution
Develop Python‑based scripts and tools to enhance automation, data handling, and system functionality
Collaborate with engineering teams to refine test methods and integrate new display‑module configurations
Qualification
Required
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical discipline
3-5 Years of experience required
having hands‑on experience with Python scripting and familiarity with laboratory environments and macOS
Candidate will have strong proficiency with Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, and OpenCV to support imaging and automation workflows
