Responsibilities
Attend and learn both HeyTutor and district training(s)
Conduct in-person tutor training to help tutors perform job responsibilities and serve as a resource to assist with challenging situations and answering questions
Communicate needs of tutors to corporate team
Lead distribution and collection of tutor devices, materials, and resources for HeyTutor staff deployed
Develop strong rapport with school/district administrators
Escalate issues that arise and be proactive in communicating potential issues
Partner with Support Team to monitor tutor attendance
Ensure input and collection of data from tutoring program
Attend weekly check-in meetings with your Regional Customer Success Manager
Attend corporate meetings as required
Travel required between district schools; reliable transportation needed, mileage reimbursable
Provide tutors with additional classroom support when needed
Qualification
Required
4-year degree
Prior experience in education and/or in tutor related role
3+ years of combined supervisor and training experience
Comfortable working in a school environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in use of common corporate office software
Clear background check
Covid-19 Vaccination (if required)
Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
Proactive, able to anticipate tutor needs
Able to problem solve
Passionate about education
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, speak and hear; may occasionally be asked to lift up to 15 pounds
Normal physical mobility that includes movement from place to place
Ability to sit for long periods of time
