Responsibilities
Works with the Corporate Planning team to forecast earnings and key financial metrics and perform key financial analysis
Updates the financial model and provides key monthly analyses to explain results versus forecasted expectations as needed and explain the results
Suggests and implements continuous process improvements to benefit greater team
Communicates issues to managers and teammates and internal/external customers in a clear fashion
Communicates with other departments to gather information about Entergy's businesses and transactions
Communicates with subject matter experts across the company to better understand any risk with assumptions and forecast
Responsible for Ad hoc analysis and other tasks as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Seeking an individual pursuing a bachelors (Junior or Senior) or Master's degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or similar program with strong analytical skills
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in a team environment
Good written and verbal communications skills
Independent self-starter with attention to detail
Good critical thinking skills
Microsoft Suite knowledge with preferred Excel focus
