Responsibilities
Deploying and configuring software development tools, including build servers, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks
Managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructures on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and security
Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts, such as Ansible playbooks, to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
Setting up and maintaining development and production environments, deploying application devices, and developing best practices for platform scaling, configuration management, and troubleshooting
Supporting or overseeing the administration of software development tools like Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, and SonarQube, ensuring their optimal performance and integration
Contributing to process improvement initiatives, focusing on operational efficiency and quality enhancement
Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks and tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual interventions, and ensure reliable software delivery
Monitoring system performance through metrics and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making and foster continuous improvement
Mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance on DevSecOps practices, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing
Collaborating closely with delivery teams to establish and meet service level indicators, objectives, and agreements, ensuring high standards of system performance and security
Maintaining documentation, supporting security protocols, and participating in code reviews and audits to maintain system integrity and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution
Relevant certifications such as Security+
Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or Python
1-3 years of experience in software development and Agile methodologies
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with automation tools like Ansible
Familiarity with Linux operating systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to security and quality
U.S. citizenship
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
