Energy Analyst Intern

The Energy Analyst Intern will support the Power, Energy Transition, Oil, and Natural Gas teams by analyzing aspects of the energy markets and collecting datasets to provide clients with critical information for investment and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities
Support the FactSet's Power, Energy Transition, Oil, and Natural Gas teams by working on tailored projects focused on analyzing specific aspects of the energy markets and collecting datasets to support analysis
Provide our clients with the best information for investment and risk mitigation in the energy markets
Articulate the story behind the numbers
Qualification
Required
Working towards a BS or MS in Finance, Economics, Petroleum Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study
Strong attention to detail and proactive nature
Willingness and ability to learn new software programs
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Capable of contacting industry participants to confirm project details
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to execute on deadline-driven projects
Experience working with large datasets
Basic Programming experience is a plus (SQL, Python)
Modeling experience
For U.S. locations, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
