Software Engineer, Core Product (Early Career)- San Francisco HQ
Orb is redefining billing software to help businesses grow by automating billing and evolving pricing strategies. As an early engineer on the core product team, you will build the technical foundations of a critical product and work closely with customers to enhance their experience.

Responsibilities
Own your changes end-to-end across the full stack, ensuring value is delivered to customers before considering a feature shipped
Use AI tools (Claude Code, Graphite, etc.) as a core part of your workflow to design, build, and iterate quickly
Learn from and contribute to a highly skilled team
Collaborate cross-functionally (PM, design, sales, customer success) to shape strategy and deliver value
Qualification
Required
New grad or early-career engineer (0–2 years) with strong full-stack fundamentals
Comfortable using AI coding tools and eager to push the limits of what they can do
Enthusiastic about working on a broad range of technical challenges across the stack
Strong attention to detail with deep user empathy, in visual UX, API design, and everything in between
Excited to engage directly with customers to shape the Orb product
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate (with support from Orb)
