They are seeking a Procurement Intern to support their Supply Chain Value Analysis & Engineering team by executing data analytics tasks, building analytical dashboards, and synthesizing commercial data to empower value analysis and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities
Execute a VSM Explosion: Map product families down to individual Bills of Materials (BOM) to create a comprehensive end-to-end value stream visual
Build Analytical Dashboards: Collaborate with IT, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Analytics, and stakeholders to develop a visualization tool that identifies vendor-to-product mapping and material commonality
Identify Strategic Similarities: Analyze BOMs to find overlaps in materials and components, enabling opportunities for part standardization and supplier consolidation
Synthesize Commercial Data: Integrate geographic sales distribution and gross margin calculations into a single-pane-of-glass product snapshot
Empower VAVE Processes: Provide the data-driven "snapshot" necessary for the engineering and sourcing teams to execute value analysis and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualification
Required
Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Masters students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or Business Analytics
Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and an understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures or ERP systems
The ability to take complex, multi-layered data sets and translate them into simple, actionable visual insights
Strong communication skills to effectively interface with IT, Sourcing, and Finance stakeholders
3.0 Minimum GPA
Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) for the 9-week duration from June 15 to August 14, 2026
