They are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing exceptional service to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions
Process salaries, benefits, taxes, garnishments, and other deductions in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate all payroll reports
Maintain compliance with wage and hour laws and payroll best practices
Prepare and file payroll-related tax filings and support year-end processes
Develop, document, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls
Build and enhance reporting tools to streamline payroll operations and improve accuracy
Provide high-quality customer service by resolving escalated payroll issues promptly and professionally
Research and resolve complex payroll matters, partnering with HR and Finance as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information
Support leadership with ad hoc projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of multi-state, full-cycle payroll experience required
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
High initiative, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred but not required
