Summer Intern, Finance, M&A, & Analytics

PPHC is a global government relations and strategic communications group providing a range of services to clients. They are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support their Finance, FP&A, and M&A teams, offering hands-on experience in financial analysis and decision-making within a public company.

Responsibilities

Support M&A Activities: Improve existing excel model for evaluating/pricing/presenting M&A transactions
Research potential acquisition targets in specific geographic and functional areas
Support FP&A Activities: Automate production of monthly performance decks for each of our member companies
Assist VP of FP&A in enhancing and optimizing Power BI Dashboard
Support CFO: Optimize bonus calculation/allocation file to ensure it is able to service HR, CEO, CFO, and Accounting teams
Other ad hoc duties as needed

Required

Strong analytical mindset with interest in finance, M&A, and data analytics
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query)
Experience applying AI tools to automate or enhance analytical workflows
High attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to meet and exceed established deadlines
Dependability and reliability
Be able to adjust to flexible work schedules
Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment with evolving priorities
