Intern, Airport Customer Service (ACS) JFK - NYC Above and Below Wing Ambassador (Summer 2026)

Delta Air Lines is seeking an Airport Customer Service (ACS) Above and Below Wing Ambassador intern for Summer 2026. The intern will support the Customer Experience business unit by assisting with various customer service functions and working on a larger project to present to leadership at the end of the internship program.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the ticketing counter
Provide a clean and enjoyable airport experience
Ensure on-time bag arrival when customers land
Direct customers toward appropriate lines and kiosks
Answer customers’ questions
General terminal upkeep/tidiness
Enhance customer experience as a Delta Air Lines Ambassador
Partner with a member of the leadership team
May be assigned projects by leadership team

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or institution during the duration of the internship program day of interview with you
Must comply with a background check, fingerprint, and drug & alcohol screen per state/local/airport municipalities
Ability to handle simultaneous situations and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Solid interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and strong verbal communication skills
Must follow Delta's public contact employee appearance standards
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship or future sponsorship for full/part time position
Work any shift including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred

Ability to tackle multiple projects at once, adhering to different timelines and working with many partners to ensure alignment and consistency within each project
Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution to enable innovation and progress on difficult-to-solve challenges
