Software Engineer, Search Evaluation Platforms

Responsibilities
Write code that meets standards, applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the development flow, and ensuring your work is testable and resilient to failure
Balance short- and long-term goals, delivering capabilities to enable Search development requirements while considering platform improvements to implement future needs
Work with team members, other engineering teams (such as backend owners and vertical feature teams), and cross-functional partners (program managers, product managers, etc.) to ensure your work aligns with project goals and technical practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
2 years of experience in Java or Python or C/C++
Experience with distributed systems
Experience developing accessible technologies
