InternKey Capture Energy is seeking a Market Fundamentals Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will conduct energy market data analysis and research to support the company's market fundamentals function.

Responsibilities
Organizing and processing energy market data across a variety of formats and platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Orennia ION, FERC EQR)
Supporting data analysis and interpretation of key trends
Assisting in the preparation of PowerPoint slide decks and research presentations
Contribute to the creation and updates of price and revenue curves
All other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with U.S. power and gas markets a plus
Advanced data analysis skills in Excel and similar formats
Coding ability (e.g., SQL, Python) a plus
Familiarity with nodal analysis software (e.g., DAYZER) a plus
Strong organizational and time-management skills
