The Cloud Developer is responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable various cloud services, implementing automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
Analyze applications and provide recommendations for platform migration, deployment into a cloud environment, and optimization
Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services
Manage policies for cloud service usage,new technologyrequests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environment
Ensureappropriate availabilityand uptime design for cloud services
Work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software
Debug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field of study
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position with a large organization
Proven experience in cloud architecture and cloud service delivery models
Strong analytical skills to provide recommendations for cloud migration and deployment
Experience in developing strategies for cloud service failure/recovery and cost optimization
Ability to manage cloud policies and ensure secure cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and services
Proficient in DevSecOps practices and automation tools – GitLab
Proficient in container orchestration and security practices
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
