Advocacy Volunteer Specialist
Prison Fellowship is the nation’s largest Christian nonprofit dedicated to serving currently and formerly incarcerated individuals and advocating for justice. They are seeking an Advocacy Volunteer Specialist to recruit and vet volunteer applicants, build rapport with volunteers, and facilitate engagement with national initiatives and legislative campaigns.

Build individual rapport with high-impact Justice Ambassador volunteers
Identify strategic collaboration points to leverage church and community connections
Facilitate engagement with Prison Fellowship's national initiatives and legislative campaigns
Qualification
Required
Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
1-2 years of experience in program management
Experience coaching volunteers, interacting with the legislative process, engaging the faith community and working on multiple projects simultaneously
Outstanding relationship building skills and sound discretion a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social network platforms; use of Phone2Action and Salesforce a plus
Demonstrated ability to work in a remote/virtual professional role
A bachelor's degree in social science or related major
Candidate must be located in TN or VA to receive consideration
This is a remote/work from home position requiring willingness and ability to travel up to 30% within the US, and the driving aspect of this role is subject to certain driving record and insurance requirements
Preferred
Experience with grassroots organizing a plus
