Responsibilities

Accurately process and manage payroll for all employees (approx 200), ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Prepare and distribute paychecks, maintain payroll records, and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies or issues, collaborating with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Process Month End and Year End payroll and accounting related activities
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and assisting with paperwork completion
Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures following legal requirements and industry-standard processes
Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Producing employment letters and providing reports and analyzing/auditing HR data
Maintaining accurate HRIS data and liaising with global centers of excellence as needed
Other projects as required

Required

College Diploma in HR Management, Accounting or Business Administration
1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on payroll, benefits or HR
Strong oral and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills; projection of professional image and credibility; teamwork oriented, flexible and inclusive
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Expert in MS Excel

Preferred

Bachelors Degree
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
Health care, pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience preferred
Global organization experience preferred
Prior experience with Dayforce, Workday
