The Advanced Solutions team within the Data & AI Enablement Org is seeking an AI/ML engineer to support the AI Strategy Acceleration portfolio
Teams within the portfolio focus on standardized and accelerated agentic development and ontology generation that enables semantic data discovery, reasoning, and information retrieval
The AI Strategy Acceleration Portfolio provides solutions and capabilities that underpin all AI solutions within the Advanced Solutions Division
In addition to tackling development work the team will help facilitate training and the exploration of cutting-edge technologies
You will work closely with a team of experts in AI, software engineering, and systems development
You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives for information retrieval
You will develop solutions that inform data-driven decision making and help the organization stay ahead of the curve
You will architect, deploy, and support enterprise scaled services hosted on Cloud and on-premise technologies

Required

Architectural design and operational ownership of agent hosting infrastructure with focus of scalability and reliability of agentic deployments
15+ years of progressive software development experience, with at least 10 years as a full‑stack engineer on large‑scale, production‑grade systems
Advanced Python experience (can mentor others and influence best practices)
Expertise in MLOps and cloud‑native deployments and proven track record delivering for/supporting the entire life cycle of an AI-powered application
Experience with LLMs and/or Generative AI
Demonstrated strategic use of GenAI Coding Assistants to accelerate development, enforce standards, and increase team velocity
US Citizenship is required due to program requirements and system access
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field or equivalent education/experience

Preferred

Enterprise‑scale LLM Tool‑Calling & Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
Proven experience leading design and delivery experience in API Development & Integration
Advanced CI/CD & GitOps – architect and govern enterprise‑wide pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and automated release strategies for zero‑downtime deployments
Advanced Data engineering - built and maintained large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and relational/columnar stores (RDS, Redshift, Snowflake) that power indexing and relevance models
Advanced proficiency in at least two other languages (e.g., Java, C++, Go, Rust) with contributions to core services written in those languages
Vector and graph database expertise
Agentic/Autonomous Workflow Design – design, prototype, and operationalize AI agents that orchestrate complex data‑retrieval and decision‑making pipelines
Excellent communication and liaison experience with external technical partners, customers, and cross‑functional stakeholders
Leadership of multiteam GitHub/GitLab repositories
Strategic stakeholder engagement – regularly advises senior business leaders, external partners, and customers on technical roadmaps and risk mitigation
Experienced in agile development methodologies champion SAFe/LeSS practices, mentor Scrum Masters, and ensure consistent delivery across multiple feature teams
Proven thought leadership - publications, patents, or open‑source contributions in IR, LLM integration, or MLOps that influence industry best practices
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML or related field
