Understands how to track, reconcile, and pay sales tax through QBO
Can identify and troubleshoot sales tax discrepancies
Is detail-oriented and able to work independently
Communicates professionally and clearly

Available to begin immediately to assist with catch-up sales tax filings for one client covering 4th quarter through 1st quarter 2026
Experience handling prior period filings, reconciling discrepancies, and bringing accounts current
Experienced with sales tax compliance who can work independently and help guide proper processes and filings within QuickBooks Online
Preferred
QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification
Prior bookkeeping experience
Experience with cleanup/catch-up bookkeeping projects
Familiarity with CDTFA requirements and filings
Experience working with service-based small businesses
