Maintenance Technician

LHH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing organization to support production operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain production machinery, mechanical systems, electrical wiring and components, plumbing systems and fixtures, CNC equipment, pneumatic and PLC-controlled systems, motors, engines, and single- and three-phase electrical systems
Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve operational issues promptly
Support higher-level maintenance personnel on complex repairs and projects
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Assist with facility and grounds maintenance as needed
Fabricate minor machine components, guards, and related items
Complete additional maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned by leadership
Occasionally use a personal vehicle for local pickup or delivery of machine parts or supplies

Required

Experience working with motors, engines, electrical systems, pneumatic equipment, PLCs, and general mechanical systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with maintenance-related systems or software
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Customer service mindset with strong follow-through and responsiveness
Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment
