Responsibilities
Lead mixed-methods evaluations of health system innovations, with the flexibility to design studies that leverage the candidate’s methodological strengths, whether qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups), quantitative (e.g., survey design, EHR-based analyses), or integrated approaches
Partner with clinicians, operational leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to develop research questions and evaluation designs that inform care delivery decisions
Develop and submit manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and present findings at national conferences
Contribute to new research proposals and grant submissions, including opportunities to develop the candidate’s own funded research agenda
Pursue independent scholarly interests aligned with the broader research program, building toward an independent research career
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in health services research, public health, epidemiology, health policy, sociology, or a related field
At least three years of relevant post-doctoral experience is required for this position
Preferred
Experience conducting mixed-methods or multi-method research
Experience evaluating health care programs, clinical innovations, or delivery system interventions
Strong expertise in qualitative or quantitative methods, with interest in developing complementary methodological skills
Experience working within health care delivery settings or learning health systems
Record of first-authored peer-reviewed publications
