Responsibilities
Lead Customer-Facing Engineering Team Manage and develop a team of Solution Executives embedded with Account Executives to support pursuit strategy, customer engagement, and technical solution development
Own Technical Sales Execution Oversee the creation of proposals, system architectures, and preliminary designs for electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, e-houses, panelboards, power distribution units), ensuring alignment with customer specifications and company capabilities
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure solutions are technically feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with manufacturing and delivery capabilities
Standardize Solutions & Improve Speed Establish tools, templates, and design standards to improve quote turnaround time, consistency, and quality across all market verticals
Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership Act as an executive-level technical advisor for key customers, supporting critical pursuits, resolving complex challenges, and building long-term relationships
Resource & Capacity Planning Align team structure and workload with demand, ensuring appropriate staffing and prioritization to meet business objectives and quote cycle targets
Continuous Improvement Identify process gaps, implement best practices, and leverage digital tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the solution engineering function
Qualification
Required
Strong background in electrical power systems and equipment manufacturing
Proven leadership experience in solution engineering, applications engineering, or technical sales
Deep understanding of customer-facing engineering within a sales-driven organization
Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and commercial outcomes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
