Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead the conceptual design, development, and implementation of data center control systems, including Chilled Water, HVAC, Power Monitoring and Data Hall Monitoring
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers on the controls team
Develop control system architectures, functional specifications, and detailed system designs
Program and configure PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMIs to meet project requirements
Develop standard SOOs, P&IDs, Sensor installation details, specifications and design templates
Support control system simulations, factory acceptance testing (FAT), construction and commissioning activities at greenfield data center deployments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial control systems engineering
Extensive experience with PLCs, DCSs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks
Proficiency in control system programming languages such as ladder logic, function block, and others
Hands-on experience with major control system platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition, etc)
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities
Willingness to travel to project sites as required (50-70%)

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
Experience in managing large-scale control system projects, from design through commissioning
Experience with Revit or other 3D modelling software
Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices
Ability to stay current with emerging trends in industrial control and automation technologies
