Responsibilities
Performs all responsibilities of Interior Designers I–III
Leads projects from concept through construction administration
Develops creative design concepts, space plans, and finish selections aligned with client goals
Produces and oversees Revit documentation (plans, elevations, details, 3D views)
Creates client-facing visual presentations (renderings, mood boards, finish palettes)
Presents design solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders
Ensures compliance with codes, accessibility, and safety standards
Manages project scope, schedules, budgets, and coordination with internal/external teams
Prepares specifications, material selections, and cost estimates
Supports bidding, negotiations, and construction administration activities
Conducts site visits and post-occupancy evaluations
Provides mentorship and quality control for junior staff
Maintains strong client relationships and delivers projects on time and within budget
May supervise and mentor Interior Designers and support staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
11+ years of experience, preferably in commercial, government, or hospitality design
Advanced Revit proficiency (required)
Strong visual presentation and rendering skills (Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
Expertise in space planning, materials, and FF&E selection
Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
Revit (required)
Preferred
NCIDQ certification
Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Microsoft Office
