Responsibilities
Architect Cloud Delivery Models: Design and cloud frameworks to support Data Warehouse and Financial Reporting
Operationalize Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform and Ansible to automate the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of AWS resources, ensuring a repeatable and auditable environment
Lead Mission-Critical Migrations: Execute the technical migration of legacy data to secure AWS enclaves, refactoring workloads for optimal cloud performance
Engineer DevSecOps Pipelines: Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to integrate security gates and functional testing into every software deployment
Optimize Performance & Cost: Conduct deep-dive analysis of cloud utilization to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement scaling strategies that maintain a target of 99.9% system uptime
Enforce Security Hardening: Implement technical controls aligned ensuring all EC2 instances and containers are STIG compliant before production release
Collaborate on Agile Solutions: Participate in all phases of the Agile process to solve complex debugging challenges across the full cloud stack
Qualification
Required
Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance
Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud development, with specific expertise in core AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS (Aurora PostgreSQL)
Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform/Ansible) and scripting languages such as Python or Node.js
Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab or similar enterprise-grade version control systems
Ability to independently debug complex cloud stacks and resolve incidents within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Familiarity with Splunk for centralized logging and performance monitoring
Prior experience or training with Tibco WebFOCUS or similar Business Intelligence platforms in a financial reporting context
Familiarity with Docker or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for managing containerized microservices
