Underwriting Analyst - M&A Division
Great American Insurance Group is a leader in the insurance industry, providing opportunities for growth and development. They are seeking an Underwriting Analyst to assist the Mergers and Acquisitions Liability Division in underwriting representations and warranties insurance policies.

Responsibilities
Assist in underwriting Representations & Warranties insurance policies
Participate in internal underwriting calls with M&A deal team
Manage submissions, quotes, binders and policy issuance, with proper supervision and approvals
Assist in maintenance of electronic files, including policy checklist spreadsheet tracking key policy and underwriting documents
Draft excess policies
Client correspondence, including responding to broker inquiries on tight deadlines
Work may be required outside of ordinary business hours
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal degree/certification
Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Preferred
Experience with financial statements, taxes and legal documents preferred
Knowledgeable about current business and legal risks
