Senior Landscape Architect - Project Lead CM

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect – Project Manager to oversee planning and design for community facilities. This role involves managing client relationships, project budgets, and leading complex landscape architecture projects while ensuring quality and compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for technical and Project Management for the day-to-day preparation of deliverables
Develop and grow client relationships and partnerships
Responsible for the day-to-day staffing and project scheduling
Lead or assist on complex LA projects, designs, planning studies, contracts, and proposals
Review complete project documents and QA/QC
Represent the organization in communications and conferences
Train and provide technical guidance to staff
Produce project reports, designs, graphics in plan, section, and 3-D / Perspective views
Lead project/public meetings on complex projects
Responsible for QA/QC
Attend proposal interviews
Prepare bills for projects
Identifies, organizes and leads community service programs
Functional manager to staff
Knowledge of pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations
Adept with citizen involvement techniques and processes
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
10 years of experience, including 3 to 4 years supervisory
Landscape Architecture license is strongly desired
Active member of a professional practice organization
Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of Landscape Architecture and Planning
Strong organizational skills required; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Must have advanced oral, written and graphic communication skills
Must be able to efficiently and effectively delegate tasks/projects
Must be able to effectively motivate and develop staff
Must have strong financial skills related to budget and project billing
Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments
Ability to provide effective supervision and staff management
