Responsibilities
Lead development, support, and enhancement activities for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications
Design, develop, and maintain SFCC storefront solutions using SiteGenesis and/or SFRA architecture
Work closely with business, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable eCommerce solutions
Develop and support integrations with external systems such as payment gateways, search platforms, CMS, loyalty platforms, and third-party services
Implement and support headless commerce solutions utilizing OCAPI and SCAPI APIs
Provide L3 production support and participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Support peak business cycles and ensure application readiness for high-volume sales events through performance tuning, scaling, and monitoring activities
Participate in code reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD practices, and Agile ceremonies
Collaborate with offshore teams for handoff, support transition, and operational continuity
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development and support
Strong hands-on experience with SiteGenesis and/or SFRA storefront development
Deep knowledge of Demandware scripting and JavaScript-based development
Strong understanding of retail and eCommerce business processes and integrations
Experience integrating external services including payment gateways, CMS platforms, search engines, and loyalty systems
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, YAML, GraphQL, Swagger, OCAPI, and SCAPI
Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications during peak sales periods and performance optimization activities
Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, branching strategies, and code review processes
Knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum processes, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with data modeling concepts
Must be flexible to overlap with offshore (IST) teams for daily handoff and support activities
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or New Relic
Knowledge of headless commerce architecture and implementation patterns
Experience working in production support / L3 support environments
