Responsibilities
Builds and maintains financial reporting and non-financial (Business KPI) reporting
Works with the data warehouse to find and bring forward data (SQL experience preferred)
Report building in BI tools (Tableau, Pyramid, PowerBI, etc…) and Microsoft Excel
Provides support for all internal stakeholders of the business within the Bamboo organization
Performs other related ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the 3 financial statements and accounting differences
Advanced-Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish rapport, credibility, trust, and positive relationships with all departments
Proficient in effectively planning and prioritizing work activities
Ability to work with technology platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel experience preferred
Understanding of insurance products, policies, and services
Excellent customer service skills
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
2+ years' experience in an analyst (or related) role
1+ years' experience in property and casualty insurance
Preferred
Experience with Tableau, Pyramid, PowerBI or similar BI tools
Beginner-intermediate SQL skills and knowledge
Experience in Guidewire or other modern policy administration systems
Experience working with different technology platforms, especially FIS/EAS general ledger system, Britecore, Process One, Tipalti
