Responsibilities
The individual will develop plans and recommendations and help implement plans for deploying and maintaining CBP capital assets (towers) in a dynamic operational environment
An understanding of lifecycle management and sustainment doctrines and standards and experience deploying lifecycle maintenance programs, as well as the technology utilized to manage lifecycles for capital assets is a must
Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products to delivery high quality written materials and presentations is a must; briefing experience is a plus
Experience with the fixed and mobile radio towers and their maintenance requirements is a plus

Required
Understanding of and experience with lifecycle management and sustainment doctrines and standards and experience deploying lifecycle maintenance programs
Experience with technologies used to deploy lifecycle maintenance and sustainment programs
Experience with systems integrations and planning
Experience interviewing and meeting with stakeholders to understand the current state and gain buy-in for the future state
Translating customer strategic objectives into an actionable organizational strategy
Creating an effective strategy and metrics that create a positive-feedback loops
Measuring progress against agreed-upon goals and metrics, enabling informed decision-making
Refining and improving the strategy and associated quality assurance metrics and tools based on progress and feedback
Understanding and application of new and emerging technologies into overall strategy and mission execution
Experience with DHS components (Customs and Border Protection, US Border Patrol), policies, and procedures preferred
Bachelors
Lifecycle Management Certification
Minimum of 8 years of work experience related to the management and maintenance of large capital assets and technologies utilized
Preferred
Tower Maintenance certification
Experience with radio surveillance towers and similar capital assets
Experience supporting Department of Homeland Security (particularly Customs and Border Protection or US Border Patrol) programs
Planning lifecycle maintenance for industrial equipment: 4 years
Construction management: 2 years
