Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments
Manage and support AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure
Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments
Monitor infrastructure performance, system availability, backups, and patch management activities
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues
Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and system resiliency initiatives
Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using scripting and automation tools
Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity services
Support virtualization, cloud-native technologies, and containerized environments
Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams on infrastructure modernization projects
Evaluate and recommend improvements to infrastructure performance, security, and scalability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering experience
Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, or SUSE)
Windows Server administration experience
Active Directory administration experience
Microsoft 365 administration experience
AWS and/or Azure cloud administration experience
Experience managing enterprise production environments
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
Experience with system monitoring, patching, backup, and recovery processes
Working knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP
Preferred
Kubernetes administration experience
Docker, Podman, or containerization technologies
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
Ansible or other configuration management tools
PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other scripting languages
CI/CD pipeline support experience
Microsoft Entra ID and Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience
Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
Government contracting (GovCon) experience
Familiarity with CUI, CMMC, or NIST 800-171 environments
