Responsibilities
Own the design process from first conversation to final selection
Listen to clients, understand how they actually live in their spaces, and translate that into designs that work
Deliver a complete, cohesive design including space planning, cabinetry, countertops, finishes, plumbing fixtures, and lighting
Guide clients patiently, explain their options clearly, and make them feel confident every step of the way
Understand what a client can spend, build a design that creates real value within their budget, and guide the conversation to a close
Build a loyal client base that grows over time, not just a stream of one-off projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in kitchen and bath design, ideally in a showroom or remodeling environment
Strong space planning skills and solid computer literacy, comfortable with project management tools and picking up new systems quickly
Fluency across styles, with particular strength working with clients who prefer classic, timeless, or traditional aesthetics
Solid working knowledge of plumbing fixtures and lighting as part of a full design package
A natural ability to build rapport, hold a client's hand through the process, and make complex decisions feel manageable
Comfortable working with a range of budgets and skilled at finding the right fit without losing the sale
A closer, someone who can take a client from inspired to committed
Detail-oriented, because a beautiful design still has to be built right
