Project Engineer - Instrumentation Design Engineering (Onsite)
Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for Instrumentation Design Engineering, responsible for leading the design and fabrication of instrumentation hardware for military and commercial engines.

Responsibilities
Development of Basis of Estimates (BOE) for commercial and government proposals
Provide project management to the Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Manage program/task budgets, schedules, and procurement of the designed instrumentation hardware
Performs risks assessments and develop mitigation plan as needed
The position requires excellent communication and team leadership skills as well as the ability to operate across a wide range of disciplines and management levels with both internal and external customers to ensure that task requirements are met
Travel is up to 10%
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in STEM
5 years of project engineering or mechanical engineering experience or Advanced degree with 3 years project engineering or mechanical engineering experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Knowledge and experience with Project Management toolsets (e.g., Agile, SAP, Primavera, or MS Project)
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, budgets, and schedules
Ability to solve technical problems with minimal direction
Understanding of standard manufacturing methods
Ability to interface effectively with both internal and external customers
