5+ years expContemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Controller to join our client to support accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations across the organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership to oversee accounting activities, manage cash and banking functions, and guide payroll and compliance processes.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month end close with clear and timely financial reporting
Manage treasury and cash activities such as cash planning, banking administration, payment approvals, and fraud prevention controls
Direct payroll administration and related reporting, ensuring accuracy in withholdings, benefits coordination, and headcount tracking
Support tax compliance and regulatory requirements, including 1099 preparation, quarterly filings, and coordination for affiliated entities
Partner with leadership on budgeting, financial analysis, system enhancements, and special finance projects that improve efficiency
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with equivalent experience considered
Five or more years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with law firm exposure strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to meet firm deadlines
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel capabilities and financial systems experience
