Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer who will be responsible for developing new applications and enhancing existing ones. This role involves interfacing with a legacy ERP system and working closely with various teams to improve business productivity.

Responsibilities

Write, clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Design robust, scalable, and secure features
Analyzes business application requirements and user specifications
Works closely with legacy ERP developers to integrate and interface ERP functionality on the Ruby platform
Assists in writing Statements of Work for application programming
Ensures that application development aligns with Statement of Work and minimizes scope creep
Estimates project timelines, identifies complexity, and communicates effectively in all phases of the project
Revises and updates applications and documentation as required
Documents code and systems
Performs any other task as requested by Manager

Required

2+ Years of Ruby on Rails experience required
2+ Years of Vue.js or similar front end framework
Experience with Git, GitLab, or GitHub
Knowledge of Linux and command line tools
Knowledge of network concepts and principles including operating systems, security, and advanced protocol
Effective teamwork and collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated critical thinking and analysis
Strong project management skills

Preferred

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
Experience with test-driven development a plus
Proficiency with ERP/MRP Systems and other Database programs, preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
